I have a 10 gallen tank, and its very annoying having to top it off with frest water every 6 hours because of evaporation. Ive been looking around for a top-off, and they are eather to expensive or to hard to build. Is it possible to use a kent doser (forget wat its called) its the think that drips kaswatter, and jsut put fresh water in it and let it drip, so as the water evaporates it gradually gets put back in?

The Kent Aqua-Dose system is cheap and easy to use for top off water. It needs to be placed above the tank or sump so that the water can drip. It will take you some time to figure out the drip rate for your tank, but once you have learned that it is simple.

Yes. I have a 10 gal tank that I use for that reason. Fill it and forget it. You will have to adjust the speed it goes in to the evaporation speed. It may take alittle while and may change alittle over the coarse of the year and seasons.

Do a search.
There have been lots of very easy to build top off systems. One may work well for you.
I use a 5 gallon jug from the lfs, a float switch and an air pump. The airpump runs into the jug of r/owater and forces the water to the tank.
