Automatically Feed for a couple days?

Hey is there any way to make something that will automatically feed my saltwater tank while Im gone for Thanksgiving break? It's only 4 days, but I dont want to leave my tank that long with no food. I would put in a cube thing, but the shrimp would tear it up in two seconds and it would be pointless. If anyone could help I would be ever-grateful!

I'm not familiar with the "cube thing", but can you put it on a veggie clip so the shrimp cant reach it?

I think i will try that today to make sure it works before I actually try it for the weekend, but thanks for the idea!

Your tank will be fine for 4 days without being fed. You would risk more by having food dropping in and not being cleaned up if necessary. Besides, flake food is not very good to feed anyway. Frozen is much better. Is there someone who could feed them once while you're gone? Just a thought.

I agree with Sonny. I Have heard of problems with the auto feeders. Leave a set amount of food for someone to feed for you that way they don't over feed.

I ordered a auto fish feeder from ThatPetPlace and have used it on all weekend trips and all vacations for three years. Works great! and about $30.00 or so. :D
