Im soon to be setting up a lagoon in the summer......i know this may sound like any old ? but im trying to do everything right and figureing everyone gives you a hard time, i like the advice you give. Anways to the point the pond/lagoon whatever you want to call it is going to have a print of 10 long 4ft wide and 2-3 ft deep. would it be possible to house the cortez rays and 2 bamboos together in there or would i be pushing my luck.
Thanks in advance,
Rich

I dont see a problem with that.
If you can, go a little wider than 4'...even 5' would be better.

It is certainly possible...I had a male and female that were breeding regularly. They've got a new home, at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, where the female is still popping out eggs on a regular basis. They were breeding so regularly, in fact, that were taking the eggs and shipping them to other aquariums in the US.
Bamboos reach sexual maturing at around 22". There's really no way to guarantee a mate. You just gotta put a male with a female and see what happens.

Nope...never owned a ray, let alone bred any.
