seth gave me this eel becuase it wasint eating.... do you know what kind it is?
I was thining richardson or california but are they different?

Very cool! Looks to me like Gymnothorax richardsonii.
How long has it not been eating?

well seth has had it for like mmmmmm 2 months and he said it would eat like once a week or two. i think its because he had a richardson and a green wolf in a 29 gallon and wanted a snowflake eel. I tried to feed him today anmd he got really close but then backed away. ive tried octo, shrimp,live clam and frozen clam. What else should i try?
theres not a lot of info on these guys...do you have any?

is this like a rare eel?

Not really a "rare" species...just not widely collected.
Once every week or two is not uncommon...remember, Morays can go months without eating.
Give it time to settle into it's new environment.
