a) I hope this is not ina 29g tank that you have....
B) eels in general don't always eat right off the bat. Mine took 3 days in the tank before he decided to eat. Try soaking in garlic to get his attention as well. Also try buying a few pieces a of raw shrimp and see if he goes for that,.
c) Good luck

The last thing you should worry about is a brand new Moray not eating.
Give it a few days...or even a few weeks...to settle in, before it's gonna be ready for food. Morays can go MONTHS without eating, with no ill effects to the fish itself.
My Whitemouth has gone 4 months without eating and my Hawaiian Dragon has gone 6 months without eating.
In the wild, their notorious for going on long hunger strikes.
You dont even need to soak the food in garlic. If the Moray is the only fish in the tank, offer food once a week or so, for the first few weeks. Then, start offering a few times a week. It'll eventually come around.
