Awesome Package

I just recieved my invert package from this site and am totally impressed! This is the first time I have ordered but, WOW!
My question is I got two brittle stars in the package, I was expecting them to be small, and they seem pretty big. Their "Bodies" are about dime sized, and their arms are fairly long. They are both in my 55 gal reef set up. Will there be any problems with the two of them? Will they be able to move around my LR?
Just curious.

You should have no problem. In fact, you'll probably only see them at feeding time. Or an arm waving at you from INSIDE the rock. For as big as they are, it's pretty amazing to see that they can fit inside a hole in LR that is smaller than they are. They should be fine. And what a wonder that invert package will do for your tank. Which one did you get? --Bob

I got the one that is $79.00, plus the bonus of 20 blue leg hermits.
2 brittle stars
3 emeranl crabs
10 scarlet crabs
20 blue leg crabs (so 40 total)
1 coral banded shrimp
20 turbo snails
1 sally lightfoot.
I put some of the snails and blue legs in another tank because I already had others in my 55. So I pretty well stocked two tanks for $79.00.

I bought the same package and split the critters between my two tanks. I put both starfish together and it is comical to watch them at feeding time. the one will come all the way out and the other just sticks his spiney arm through a small hole in the rock. I enjoy feeding them shrimp dinners 2 times per week. It is really cool to watch. Try it and let me know.

I added the same package several months ago.......my 2 brittles are gr8 to watch.....they normally are under/around/in the lr ... to my knowledge have never bothered any body......sometimes early in the am I'll find 'em out on the sand..............when the light hits 'em they scurry for cover......pretty quick too.........
