Awful accident

I was driving to Tampa today to pick up the kids from Busch Gardens when I hear a traffic repot.
I-75 and 301 (Manatee County). A tanker truck runs OFF THE BRIDGE and hits the road below and explodes!
They won't reopen the bridge until they verify that the explosion has not compromised the integrity of the structure.
I cannot believe it!
Anyway, if you can stand to get through the opening add, here's some clips I found...
It's here...
You have to click on the links. I cannot cut and paste them individually...

75 is a nightmare. Most drivers are doing about 80 plus..... no one slows down even towards the bigger highway exchanges. I hate 75 starting north of Atlanta. Too many speeding trucks......hasn't anyone told them they should slow their speed in order to better their mileage

On a side note have you hit the Ellenton Outlet? We love it, especially right before school starts.

Are your kids doing one of the Busch Camps?? They are fun. If a hostile takeover comes of Anheuser Busch, we can kiss the theme parks goodbye

Ummm, the outlets? Love, you've seen what I CAN do now it's time I tell you what I CANNOT do! cook...shop... yeah that's pretty much it. Oh and coordinate an outfit. I HATE shopping! I am sure I will see the outlets at one point in time or another, but I'm not in any hurry.
What's the deal? You used to live here or you know people here or both?

Well, I'm not a great cook, just try to cook a few healthy meals and I am NOT into fashion AT all. I don't mind color.
I don't really love shopping, but I do enjoy a good price/deal. Outlets are great (usually)
I do like the Ellenton outlet. http://www.primeoutlets.com/cntrdefault.asp?cntrid=1019 Stride rite, Osh gosh, Carters. Gap, Vanitey Fair.....
My 15 year old daughter is chomping at the bit. She loves it.
Nope, I have never lived there, just wish I could, i know EXACTLY where I would live. We have spent on average 2 weeks a year for the past 14 years in Indian Shores. (had we bought a condo on the inter coastal back then for the $135K, I would be a happy girl
) Through the years we have met many great people and they have become family friends. So yes to your questions except the living there part and my kids even have friends that they email in the UK. We LIVE for our 2 weeks in Indian Shores. Take your kids to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium!!! They rescue sea life. They still have a beautiful sea turtle that we called for rescue a few years ago. AND Winter the dolphin who is an amazing story in her own right. My kids LOVE it.
So....what do you think about gold colored beadboard in the new kitchen

Beadboard! Holy cow, I haven't heard it called that in forever! I think we call it wainscoting. I like the...beadboard. But as far as gold, see now that's where I'm lost. I can install it for you. No idea what color to paint it except white or off white,

Your gonna have to let me know when your back this way, we can take the whole lot to the aquarium!
I think I live somewhere close.
I do love Florida. The people the attitude, everything. Very different from Charlotte. Seems up there you can guess a persons income by the car they drive, how they dress where their kids go to school, etc. Here, you can be talking to a guy in flip flops, cut off jeans and in a semi-broken down rusted ol' chevy and learn he owns half of a city and has well over a million in the bank. But he don't care! I love it!
The above mentioned...true guy!

The best thing about Ellington is the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Specifically their Apple Pie Carmel Apples. Good stuff.
I75 certainly can suck. I travel it every other weekend to Brooksville when I ride.

I see your I-75 mess, and raise you, I-4/408 through downtown Orlando. I'll play the 85mph game of chess everyday (used to that growing up in Miami) vs. the 1hour and a half, mess it take to get 10 miles after work. That can't believe that many people are that dumb.
Nasty accident though. There was one just like this in Canada not to long ago. The driver passed out/had a seizure/etc and veered into opposing lanes, then into the median, and hit the open area in the center of the highway on an overpass. Lemme see if I can find it. A mother was recording the whole thing.
Found it:
