My toad fish just ate a saltwater minnow that I caught at the beach and it was his own size. this was his first time eating since I got him. to bad I didnt see it though but the fish is missing and his stomach is HUGE!!!! its been 4 weeks :D so happy;)

Don't mean to rain onyour parade but you cxan contaminate your tank also kill your fish by feeding him stuff from the ocean!:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: I hope everything works out!:p

oh dont worry I caught the toadfish too from the same place and I didnt bye any thing in that tank exept the sand and water. The tank is old and was once a freshwater of my dad's.

How do you like yours prepared? Personally i cook it with a little lemon zest and garlic...MMMMMMMM sure hits the spot, BTW you should try the glass worms!:D

well moopiespoo, it was really easy, and it was an accident.I went to the keys with my dad and we stayed at a motel thet had a bay and a lot of seagrass. So me being a kid couldent resist bringing along a small net and just go crazy;) , I dragged my net through the seagrass and caught all sorts of things including 3 toadfish, 1 of which I kept. So now he is home with me :D :D
