:notsure: I want my calcium raised so my rock has a pretty purple color. I was told to use this B-Ionic stuff to raise my calcium but when I try to raise the cal it also raises the PH which is not good. What do you recomand??? Thanks
Adding Calcium shouldn't raise your ph. Coraline algae is largely carbonate based so you need to focus on your Alk levels but Cal/Alk/pH all need to be balanced, its not jsut as simple as adding Calcium. If you don't have any corals that are consuming you Cal/Alk waterchanges should give you a good supply to get coraline growing.
Also, if all you are trying to grow is coralline, then Aragamilk works VERY well at getting coralline to explode with growth.
It did wonders for many tanks that I have seen and heard of including my own.
