I have had the dwarf seahorses for almost a month now. When I brought the 2 adults and 3 babies home you could hardly see the babies. This monday I got 4 adults and four more babies.

Live baby brine shrimp. I have a hatchery set up down stairs. You have to alternate hatching, adding food enhancer, and feeding.

Thanks. Since my digital camera only "zooms" in so much, I actually purchased a magnifying glass, and held it in front of the lens!!! The labels help too

Good to hear you horses are happy and healthy

I can't agree with you more!! I really thought that I'd lost them and actually worked my gut up enough to go in to "dispose" of them. When they weren't ready to cooperate with that (Thank God), that's when I got on here and received responses, ideas, and suggestions. Tonight it seems that they're back to normal, whatever that is.

I'm completely and utterly greatful.

What do you use for filtration on the tank.....I would be afraid the baby's, even the dwarfs would get sucked up into the filtration.

Yeah, they need low flow. I'm using a aquaclear power filter, it has settings for flow rate. You have to cover the intake flow with a large sponge. One of the little babies really lets him/her~self go for feeding time. Instead of waiting for the food the little guy lets the water current take him, The baby goes swirling head over tail snicking in baby brine. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
