babies???

My boxer (pom pom) crab has had a BIG orange belly for a couple days now and i have no clue what it could be, because i dont know how crabs reproduce and theres only one of them in the tank

am pretty sure they are eggs. female crabs can produce eggs hoping to find a male to fertilizer them. if not then the are just dumped.

they are eggs....i hate crabs...when i go out on surveys with noaa/nmfs..we will pull in all kinds of crabs shame face, porcelin, blue, tons and we will pull some up with eggs and it is the most disgusting thing ever to touch...lol....crabs have THE UGLIEST FACES to me...lol...with all the modify face appendages...the look like the predator after he takes of his mask

yeah thats what it is form the picture thats exactly what they look like, so since theres no male the eggs wont hatch?
