baby seahorse help

I decided after all these years to try my luck with a pair of tank raised seahorses. After having them home for about six weeks, they decided to have babies. I was thrilled! About 75 of those little things. I took them out and placed them in their own tank and waited about 12 hours and started to feed them newly hatched baby brine shrimp. I could see a few of them eat but most stayed at water surface level. I moved the light down to the side about halfway down to discourage the ones who were staying on top. I read they are attracted to light. I also read that they may not eat the newly hatched baby brine, so I also bought some daphnia, cyclop-eez and a coral plankton that contained rotifers. I figured by offering a little bit of everything, maybe something would be in there they would eat. I kept the tank clean, water changes....but they all died within 5 days. Before the next batch is born I need to know what I can do different. Any suggestions from anyone? I saw a site out of Florida which sells kits to culture your own live rotifers...is it easy to do anyone? Can someone talk me through it? I feel like a murderer...but I did everything in my power. I can hatch out my own angels and raise them like no tomorrow. This just shouldn't be that hard. My pair are healthy, eating well, very friendly. I just need a little advice. Thanks everyone!
