Hello.
I have a newborn Brown banded Bamboo shark, and when I say newborn, I mean newly hatched. He is only 3 days old, as of the 5th. I am wondering what and how I should feed him. How long can he go before he eats? I don't want him to die, but should I be worried about him? any info would be great.
A concerned shark dad.

he should eat any meaty food. chopped shrimp, squid, clams, krill, etc. shakrs are bottom feeders. if its on the bottom, eventually they will find it and eat it. it can live off of its stored yolk for i think a couple of weeks. what size tank is it in? bo

well he can go about 2 weeks without eating because of the sack, but dont leave the food in the tank, get a feeder stick, put the food on it and wave it in front of his face, until he takes it.

I hatched a bamboo a few months ago. As soon as he came out, I feed him ghost shrimp. Now he will eat any food I put in the tank. He loves to come to the top and take squid out of my hand.

Mine took about a month. There was always movement in the egg. Two days before it hatched, all movement stopped. I thought maybe it had died, but I left it in there. Then one night, I noticed it moving alot. The shark was cutting itself out of the egg. It was the coolest thing to see.
