I picked up a sand polyp coral today. On a big rock. I didn't notice till I got home that it seems to be FULL of tiny starfish. They look white and sandy colored and some have black bands on their legs. They appear to be brittle stars. Sandy colored with banded legs.
I need to know if I should be worried... %h
So far I've counted 15 separate sets of little legs.

Yes, they are completely harmless (unless you WANT algae) untill they start to really multiply, and start covering the front of your tank. Once your population is big enough, you might even get away with a Harlequin Shrimp, and not have to feed it. Don't quote me on that though
