I just got back from a seven day cruise to Bermuda. When I left I had a fire shrimp in trouble, serveral legs had disappeared and shrimp didn't look healthy. What made it worse is that I was leaving for my cruise and couldn't monitor it's care. I left my tank with automatic feeders and a friend who would pop in just to make sure that there were no leaks. Well, I'm happy to say that my shrimp is still alive (everyone else seems to be doing well too). I added some extra rock next to his favorite spot so that the other fish could not reach him as easily. It seems to be working as he looks much better and has his new legs growing back in- just incredible! All these new forums--what's up with that? I kinda agree with Mr. Salty. By the way, Bermuda was beautiful. Very clean. Also got to do some snorkeling. Alot of parrot fish! Saw one of the most awesome angels, even more incredible when they are in the wild. Can't wait to get back in the water.
