I have started my tank and am in the process of adding to it I thik that I need to add aosme backgroung to it and am wondering what yo may suggest. I have oak paneling in our office and want ot add something to it so when you look at it wiht the lights on ayou see more of the breauty of the tank and fish and rock and not the pumps and the brown back ground any suggestions, some of the pics i have seen with background really make the tanks look that much more awesome.

The best background IMO, is the solid color. Most use blue or black. Do a google on oceanvision. Many here use it. It is simialr to a static cling you use on windows. Easy to apply and remove.

I say go with a black background as it hides cords and such.

IMO, Black is the best color..I've use Rustolium latex paint on my last two tanks. It take a few coats using a roller but works very well.
