backpak bubbles

ok so i have a cpr backpak and i have bubbles coming out of the outlet and i was wondering how good the bubble box is that they sell the one that connects to the outlet in the tank any opions or suggestions would be great

how long has it been running...my bak pak did this at first and it quit after 2 weeks. Also if you are adding any kind of conditioner to the water it will make excess bubbles

Do a search here for *bakpak* or *bak pak* bubble trap and preskimmer.

I've had a bak pak skimmer since I started my 55g (3 or 4 years ago) and I've never had problems with bubbles coming out. I would recomend the pre skimmer because it def helps keeps the top clean... drfosterandsmith.com has them

does the preskimmer work with the maxijet it just doesnt look big enough?

i use the bubble box on mine, and they work... no more bubbles
plus, i use the box to keep my cheato in and IMO it works great.
my bak pak came with a rio 600 for a pump, but i would think a smaller
whisper would work
