Bacterial Infection?

Hi guys, I have a Yellow Wrasse thats been doing great. Suddenly yesterday i noticed he has a redness in an area on his side. Part you can actually see it looks like a vein. From what I came up with online it looks like a bacterial infection. Heres the problem, I do NOT have a QT tank. Anything I can do? If not what chances does he have of making it?

Just go and get a small QT tanks from you LFS you really should help the fish recover from either an infection or a wound by itself.

Thats what i first thought was he cut himself, but this morning he has started looking just a bit better. He has continued to eat well for me, but has acted a little strange constantly swimming into the current of my power head.
So far so good though
oh and he hides from anyone if you get close to the glass so its practically impossible to get a good closeup pic. Sorry!

I was thinking that it may be aggression, but can't say from that picture.
