bacterial infection

hey,
i have a question regarding my achilles tang. i have him in my hospital tank due to him having ich. i gave him a fw dip and now am treating him with hypo. my question is: i think he also might have a external bacterial infection ( a few blochy patches on him). can treat him with medication along with the hypo treatmen or do i have to wait until the hypo is finished. i just started hypo so there is still 3 weks left. also what are the best meds. for bacterial infections?
another question is can i use distilled water to lower the salinity instead of RO/DI water?

the dosage for maracyn-two says 2 tablets per 10 gallons on first day then 1 tablet for 5 days. are you saying to use 2 tablets all 5 days?

YES. Double dose, for the duration of treatment.
