I haven't purchased anything just yet, but I was wondering if a yellow tang would be happy in a 55-gallon tank. As of now, there are two percula clowns and various inverts. Impossible, yes or no? If not, want other fish would be good in this reef tank? I was thinking about a blenny or goby maybe.

Yes they can be happy. Is it the best conditions for a tang? No. They really should be in a 75 gal and on up. I know lots of people who have bucked this infromation and have had success in keeping them in much smaller..20's..30's...45's. Lots will say not to do it. I had a yellow tang in my 55 gal with about 80 lbs. of lr and he was happy. My advice if you want one get one. I just wouldn't add anything else to your tank. It would pretty much max the bio load out! Good luck!
