you might have read one of my topics beforeasking about the tank list for a 150.
i have theworst news possible, i am 15 play alotof sports and for some reason LOVE SWF and i used to work for a fish shop in richfield MN but because i have only been in the us for 6 months and on my dads visa i cant work so i have to quit my job.(killer)i hadsuch a good discount. so i cant get any fish does any one have any ideas on what to do

What to do? As in how to make money? Well you could do what I did when I was your age.... Try mowing lawns... cold hard cash and tax free! 3O years ago I was in junior high and one of the richest kids I knew, hehehehe I think even NOW a couple a hundred bucks a week would be GREAT money for a kid and I am betting you would only have to do HALF! the lawns I did. Hmmmm, why don't kids do this anymore, is it too boring, too hard a work. God my parents would pay anyone whatever they asked if they didn't have to mow their own grass!....lol

My dad's friend mowed lawns, and once he had a customer, he had their business. He payed for his way through medical school with money from mowing, and when he finished school sold his clients to my dad, and he bought a BMW with the money he got from my dad! Just think how far that money would go in the Saltwater hobby.

Also, you could become a little league umpire...doesn't take a lot of training, and I used to make 25 bucks a game, 3 games on Saturday, two on Sunday, I was buying more baseball cards then I knew what to do with!

Become a caddy at the local course, lawns are good and so are delivering papers if you live in a subdivision.....

The kid next door to me mows 10 lawns each weekend at 30 bucks a pop. due the math i'm thinking about doing some on the side myself!!

Find a local beer distributor that has a large fleet of delivery trucks.
They need to be washed twice a month, and every week in the winter with salt on the roads.
When I was 13 years old - my buddy and I washed these trucks ( 50 of them ) with 4 other guys on Wednesday nights.
Two teams of 3 guys - $3.00 a truck - took 2 hours.
1 guy with the hose ( hoser )
1 guy with the sponge mits and trashcan on 2-wheeler with soapy water ( mits )
1 guy with the broom ( broomer )
That was $25.00 bucks for me ( $12.50 an hour )
This was in 1972 - wonder what they pay now a days.
I kept that silly job all the way through high school <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" /> and worked for the city parks and recreation department - you got it - mowing grass !!

I jump on the cutting grass bandwagon, too. When I was 15 my friend and I were cutting 6 to 10 lawns a week and sharing a paper route. The summer I turned 16, I worked at a local college....yep, cutting grass.....on their athletic fields.

i cut grass and reffed soccer games. only made 18 a lawn cause there was some competition, but 25 a game. 5 games on sat and 4 on sunday. it all starts to add up. i also bought my first car that way.

I was managing a Baskin Robins ice cream store at 15. Two years there at 30-40 hours a week 3.50 an hour. I bought a nice car also. I had to quit for some reason my grades really started to drop??
