I have a Canon powershot SD 600 can anyone with experience with this camera give some advice on the setting, so I can get decent pic's on my tank it would be greatly appreciated. I know try to take pic's at night and turn off the power heads. The Jbj has only a 150 HQI which washes everything out and the Aqua pod with pc's take much better pics.

I usually turn off some of my actinics, since they're REALLY BLUE, to get a better shot. I have four and can turn 2 off at a time. IMO, a lot has to do with the lighting outside the tank though.

go to your flash setting. lower the ev setting. that will reduce the wash out. on my 24 nano the setting is at -1.3ev. my 65 is -1.7ev . you will have to play with it a bit. take a pic, lower or raise it, take a pic, till you find it.
