Bad SIXLINE Behavior...

Anyone else have problems with adding a fish after you've added a sixline wrasse??? mine is a real pest now.
I've got a 90g and about 150# of LR - so there's plenty of nooks and caves for everyone. Tonight I added a Yellow Citron Goby and the sixline went chasing right after him...scaring the little guy. The Citron is so tiny compared to the sixline...it just freaks me out.
I added a Royal Gramma after the sixline and the sixline can still try and mess with him, but they are around the same size - and not all the time does he go after the RG.
I had a Firefish before the sixline, and the sixline never bothers him and firefish are supposed to be the biggest wimps.
now it's got me worried. I hope I don't have to get rid of the sixline. But, if I have to, I will.
if I had to do it over again, I'd add the sixline as close to last as I could....

I've posted before about that behavior problem my 6 line has when I add new fish. Peaceful my ass, he is a natural born killer. He is vicious, he catches a new fish with his mouth and shakes them around. My 6 line now has a tag team partner in a yellow dwarf angel, the two always swim together and attack together. Only other new fish that he didn't attack was my green mandarin and that's probably because he got squirted with the mandarins self defense weapon.
If you plan on adding more, I suggest taking him out. The 6line should be put in last. I know a lot of people disagree but that is my experience with them.
Good Luck, ...

trying to catch him will be close to impossible. I'll try at feeding time.
See how he's treating my citron when I get home.

Yes, My little 6 line nearly killed a small royal gamma that I put in the tank. I have the royal gamma alone now in a tank to grow back part of his tail and part of his pectoral fins before I give him back to the fish store. I would get rid of the 6 line instead because I really don't care much for him, but I have a fairy wrasse also and am afraid that it would fight with the royal gamma too. So far the 6 line and the fairy wrasse are tolerating each other since I put them together in my new 90 gallon. They were fighting for dominance on the first day, but have settled down and try to aviod each other as they both prooved to the other that they were not going to be the weaker one and be bullied. My poor royal gamma was just too small to be in with a bully of a 6 line. What is really funny is that my 6 line has been with me for 2 years and has not grown since. He is very small for a 6 line.....maybe two inches long if that. Lesley

Thats odd about the Six Line, at least from my limited experience. Mine is preety cool, zips along as fast as possible between the rocks and leaves everyone alone. He seems to pal around with my Bi-Color Blenny (which was the last fish added), but doesn't mess with my 2 False Perculas. He did decimate my pod population pretty quick. I read that they will go after flatworms, but I don't know if thats true in my case because I've never seen any in the tank. Lots of bristle worms in the tank though, and he leaves them alone. He does mess with my cleaner shrimp sometimes, he likes to zoom between them when they act like they want to clean something, but I've never seen him attack them.
I guess I most be lucky with mine. I know that I tried once to get him out of the tank since he came down with a case of popeye, but didn't have any luck. He hides very well in the rock, in fact, when I moved my tank from the 30 to the 40 gallon, he was moved with a piece of rock. Just dropped into the bucket as I was moving the rock. He's still doing great.

to catch him use a glass jar, or some kind of clear container, with a little food in it, works every time for me
