What a great weekend everyone should have.
I woke up on friday morning to 16 gallons of water on the floor due to my stupid UV sterillizer making its way to the floor and pulling the return hose down with it. I live on a 2nd floor apartment and most of the water went to the basement. Some of the water stained the ceiling in the lower unit. Thankfully no one was in that unit because it was vacant. The apartment manager was really cool about it too.
My purchase of my first home is falling through due to the rise of interest rates.
This morning i had a Milwaukee county cop say i was going 82 in a 65 when my cruise control and my speedometer said 72. Cops are evil sometimes.
On the bright side, all my stuff in my tank is still living. I managed to wake up not long after the tank started draining. All my LR was still wet

My 2 clowns seem to be doing ok. Although one seems like he doesnt want to eat

I hope this is only short term because i had to put my tank in a different area until the floor dries up.

Yeah that is true. The last 6 months have been great up until this weekend. So maybe it is time for more of the bad luck. I'm just waiting to come home and see the tank empty again for some reason. I bought an emperor bio wheel just to avoid tubes and hoses for the time being. I hope that helps eliminate the bad luck that I had on friday morning.

Funny you should say this, because I hate the number 3. When I tell people about the reasons why I hate the number 3, I get all kinds of reactions. I either get folks telling me that I look for the number when bad things happen, some say oh its just coincidenc, and some few others say, yes - it is very erie that the number 3 is always present when something bad happens.
I am so much against the number 3, I avoid it because it is not good luck for me. When I go to a hotel, I ask for a room that doesn't have a 3. when I went to the hospital, I said I don't want a room or a floor with 3.
OK, if your curious - here is my list of reasons why I hate 3.
And none of these are made up. After you read through this list, wouldn't you begin to wonder about the number 3.
Why I hate the number 3
1) Mom never liked 13.
2) Mom was on the 3rd floor for Oncology
3) Mom died 13 days after the day they diagnosed her with cancer (October 18th) and she went home (October 31st.)
4) Mom died on the 31st of October.
5) I was 33 years old when mom died
6) Niece Shannon was 3 years old when mom died.
7) Mom is in burial lot #33
8) 2 jobs I had after mom died, I was on the 3 floor. The jobs didn’t work out and I was at each job for 3 months.
9) I had 2 litters of puppies and both times 3 of the puppies died.
10) My Niece Jennifer was 23 years old when she died and it was a fatal car accident on Route 31.
11) Jesus was 33 when he died.
12) Jesus fell 3 times walking the Stations of the Cross.
13) Brother Bryan had his motorcycle accident in 1993
14) Poison Ivy has 3 leaves
15) The old saying goes – bad things come in 3.
16) My daughter Kimberly had her first car accident in the front of our house on 4/13/05 at 3 p.m. and there were 3 cars involved
17) Mbune (our African Moustache catfish) died on May 3rd, 2005.
18) Two is company, 3 is a crowd.
19) On Aug 23rd, 2005 – I had 4 medical tests done. 3 of the tests turned out with negative results.

Lost my mom on oct 7th, 3 yrs ago

Hi Diane. Thanks for the nice post in return. My heart goes out to you in the loss of your mom. My mom died Oct 31st 1996. I miss her so much.
My tests were 3 things.
I am a PCO patient (poly cystic ovarian syndrom). I went in on 8/23 to get my first mamogram, an mri of my adrenal glands, a ultra sound of my ovaries and uterus. And a chest x ray because I had bad bronchitus. I get bronchitus every year. This year, I had it twice.
1-Adrenal gland mri - normal. That was the good test.
2-Chest x-ray - showed pneumonia which put me in the hosptial for 3 days. Better now and have been back ot work.
3-mamorgram showed a nodule in left

which scared me. Turned out to be a lymph node and not cancer. It was still a scare.
4-And the last test for my ovaries, did not do well. cysts on both ovaries which is not abnormal, women get them and they go away. However, both of my ovaries have cysts that have complex structures in them. Will retest this month to see if they grew any or reduced. They will need to biopsy them if they don't go away because there is complex structure to them, meaning not just fluid filled sacs that never released. That has me a bit scared.
Everything I said in my list as to why I hate three are all true. It is just a bad omen for me.
