Found my black long spine urchin munching on coral a few days ago!
In 24 hrs it had eaten 2 colonies of mushrooms and was working on a third.
The urchin had been in my tank for about 5 months, and with the coral for 3 with no problems. There was plenty of algea for it to eat it just developed a taste for shrooms I guess?
Oh well, I guess I will be buying a snail clean up crew soon since the killer is history. Just some info for urchin owners out there.
