Bagged Live sand in stores to cycle until cycled them by LIVE SAND

hey guys when i go to the stores it doesnt look all that white...... the people that bought the bio active sand.. under ur lights is it white? im not putting any sand in my tank unless its white.. i really love the LIVE SAND in the picture for sale on this site but im not gonna by 150lbs of it to kill it through the cycle... im hoping its just darker cause its in the bag and doesnt have the VHO lights and MH on it... let me kno? so i can get 150lbs

sorry to tell you this but there is know way, IMO, that anybodies sand stays that white once it has been in their tank for a while.

u didnt answer my question.. i didnt ask if there is a sand that STAYS white in a aquarium for a long time..

sorry but why would you insist on white sand if it won't stay white. The live sand that i used to seed the playsand in my tank doesn't look white.

i kno people that have tanks for long time and there sand is really bright white under the lights.. looks awesome
