Bak Pak II experiences?

I have a Bak pak II on my 55 gallon. Its IMO the best skimmer your gonna find in that price range. Its rated as one of the best skimmers for up to a 60 gallon tank.

All I have to say is it's too small for a 55g. You should find a skimmer rated for 100g. Keep looking there are alot of skimmers in that price range. Big Mambosa (sounds like that at least), Knop, Red Sea, E.T.S ect. are worth a look. Look for sales or online items with no shipping charges you can find some spendy skimmers for a good price.

You will get a lot of opinions about skimmers but my Bak-Pak II is working great. Got mine from http://www.reeffanatic.com/skimmers-cpr.htm
and I am very satisfied with how it is performing. Each day I empty the cup and it has greatly improved my 55 gallon fowlr tank.

My Bak Pak II has done great in my reef. You will git alot of opinions about skimmers. Some people like to double their skimmer size on there tank, others like to under skim..Just look around, but I wouldn't part with my Bak Pak...

it matters on what you want to do with your set-up!!!! but they work a.o.k. for me... but you can look around if your not in any hurry.... check with the local shop nearest you and see what they use....
