Bakpak skimmer- which one should I get?

I have a 29g tank with 25 lbs l/r, c/c as substrate, Neon goby (he's a itsy bitsy tiny guy named Pipi), Cherub Angel, Perc Clown, and Purple firefish. We have a hang-on sand filter and we are wanting to get rid of the Skiltor 250 and buy a BakPak skimmer but there are two different ones. One is for specifically for reef and the other isn't. We are wanting to start introducing some corals in the future and are not sure which to get? One is the BakPak 2R and the other is similiar. Does anyone know it I get the one for reef if it will be okay with the setup we currently have? Thanks.

I would agree with the previous post don't get the bak pak bubble machine. They skim great but the rio PH it comes with is a POS. The Biobale is a waste of time and you end up removing it (so why pay for it). for the money this is not a good value and the bubble problem will never go away.

I have had three bio-bak-paks -the combo ones running on fowlr tanks, they work well- but after 2 years one of the pumps did give out, so now I'm down to 2 and will replace it with a better skimmer. I have very, very little bubbles coming out of mine-one of the reasons I liked it--maybe the sponge deals weren't in place properly on his??
Also very easy to operate and maintain imo. One of those plug in and go kinda things.--big plus for me as I am not the most mechanically inclined people in the world. Good for me most of the equipment we use is pretty easy. :)
