Would the BakPak skimmer be to much for a 10gal reef tank? I already have it as an extra right now.

If you got a pretty decent load in there, should be fine. Might have to rig the BakPak up to fit, since it hangs down past the bottom of the 10. But you could always move the cup collect up some, and skim really dry too.
