Ballest mounting location

Hi
Can anyone tell me where u guys mount your ballest i am installing a 6x96 pc retrofit? do u mount them in the stand or mount them in the canopy ??

In the stand is best.This keeps any heat from being a problem.Also cuts down on contact with salt...

Mine are under the stand, no salt no extra heat.

DITTO, got 2 65 in on tank and 2 96 in another, want to keep salt away from anything you can, it will last longer..
