Bamboo sharks are a bethnic creature...bottom dwelling...and basically a scavenger...bottom placed mouth...as well as a opportunistic feeder...(blenny sleeping on sand bottom).
Their "snake like" shape allows then to 'slither" in and out of reef rock looking for morsels while younger...although when larger they "MAY" take a small fish given the "oppertunity"...they are not predatory like a Black tip or Leopard and will not "hunt" or "take down" prey...
Although mine DOES snatch food mid-tank it's more of a "feeding frenzy" move than an attack/hunt.
