I have a 90 right now and will be upgrading to a 6 or 7 foot tank in the next year or so, thats when I will consider a bamboo, I think You;ll need at lease a 6 foot tank probably a 7 foot tank. from what I know about shark keeping you'll need as square a tank as possible so it has room to spare. a 7 foot by 18 incher would be no good but a 6 foot by 24 inch would be better. 7 foot by 24 inch would be even better, either way your lookin at about 180-200 gallons. Get good external filtration and pumps. no internal electronics. sharks use elsctromagnetic feilds to find food and navigate, it would harm a shark to have something electronic in the tank. Thats about all i know, that and they are very messy.
