Banana eel not eating

Hi, i purchased a banana eel about a month ago,and it still is not eating,its about "6 inches,the company i purchased from was bluezoo aquatics,they told me it was eating fine when they had it in quarintine,i noticed to when i recieved it kind of had a nervous tick to it around the head,ive tried numerous types of food but doesnt eat,wondering if anybody out there has a simalar species,and a different approach on feeding it,thanks

What exactly have you tried? What did the company you bought it from feed it? Have you tried anything live? I don't know anything about that particular species experience wise. I had an eel years ago, and it would readily take anything live or otherwise. I personally would try something live. Feeder fish or ghost shrimp, something like that, or put a piece of something on a stick and try to mimic live food. JMHO
