thats what i think it was called. the pets plus by me has one and its for sale for 80 bucks. they have it in like a 20g tank. i have a 75 tank that been sittin with a damsel, some clean up crew, and about 45lbs lr for about 3 months. any chance i can buy it? thanks

NO sorry for being so blunt but NO They need 180 gallon min. they get big like 3-4 feet

It depends if you are getting a larger aquarium in the future.. The dont get 3 ft in a couple of weeks ya know.

well like everyone else of course i plan on gettin a bigger tank. i wouldnt be able to get a bigger tank and everything else for prolly about 12-16 months. if he can live that long in my 4foot tank then let me know cause i would love to have an in wall with a shark in it.

Ive had a bamboo in my 55 for one year than I moved her to my pond. She did fine in there, no probs. For water changes add water very slowly, freaks them out if added fast or can kill them.

Well, thing is, they can grow pretty amazingly fast. So I am always hesistant with uncertain plans. I've seen them grow, IMO, too large for a 75g tank within a year. If it was "oh I have a 180 in the other room"....but realistically most people PLAN for a larger tank and then don't get it. Then you've got an issue. Because the larger these sharks get, the more trouble you can sometimes have getting the right home for it. You are attached to it, and inclined to keep it even in substandard situations. At the immediate moment, no, I don't see a problem. But I see a problem with not having the firm plans...and maybe not the firm several thousand dollar budget for the next appropriately sized tank.

yea the more i thought about it thw more i thought well what if i get the car i want or what if.. if.. if... so i dont thnk ill be gettin him but thatks all for your info and help. my tank looks soo empty though with just a damsel in it. oh well for now i guess ill find something i like eventually
