banded sleeper goby question

I had alot of algae on the sand bottom and the LFS recommended a banded sleeper goby to clean it up. He's a real worker! He sifts sand all day long and has the tank bottom cleaned up. Now, though, since there isn't alot of algae left, will it be necessary to add copepods and the like to the tank to sustain him? I have a fish only/non reef 75 gal. He looks fat and happy, and has grown since I got him, and I want to keep him well. Any advice?
