Is the Banggai ok to put in a reef tank with my damsel, shrimp, and crabs?

yes - well if it is a tank larger than 20 gallons or so.
the yare peaceful skittish fish and your damsel might pick on it!

Bangaiis are perfectly reef safe, so you should be fine. However, you should expect to see some agressiveness from the damsel... they tend to be mean and territorial. If it were me, I'd take the damsel back to the LFS.
