Just bought this coral ( Sinularia sp.) Any suggestions on placing it in my tank? What direction should it face and can it touch the live rock or glass when fully open?

place it in a nice area you like it in, it is ok to touch rock or glass if after a about 4 days or so it looks like it is not happy you should move it to another spot for same time till you find a happy place it likes most of time they will like where you place them just dont place where it gets blasted by water flow of does not recieve lighting. You dont want it to touch other corals if at all possible for some corals are aggressive and can sting each other. I would suggest getting a good coral book that will tell you the needs of all the type of corals. you should really know what you buying before you buy and know how to care for them.
