Banjo fish

Does anyone have a Pic of a Banjo fish. I was skin diving in the Gulf of mexico today and found this wild looking fish which I managed to catch and bring home. A friend of mine said he thinks it might be a Banjo fish. I Looked in Marine Fishes by Scott michael and didn't see it in there. I put it in my Qt but can't seem to get a decent pic of it to post.

Finally Id'd it. A long nose batfish..just in case anyone was wondering.

So what are you going to do with it? They are not (well batfish in general) reef safe, as far as I know. Glad to hear you got a positive ID, searching the net can be a never ending hassle.

So far it is fine. It is roughly 1 1/2" long and likes to hang out under the Frog Spawn. It appears to eat brine shrimp so far. So iguess to answer your question....I'll just keep an eye on it and if it's health starts to deteriorate or it is causing a problem then it's back to the Gulf for it.
