Bannerfish dorsal fin issues

I recently purchased a Schooling Bannerfish (Heniochus diphreutes) and it's been in quarantine for about a week I think, eats a ton, is active and seems healthy except I've noticed something strange about its doral fin. The very end of the fin is "soft" (I'm not really sure how to describe it) it waves around like there's nothing to support it
At first, I thought it was nothing and would probably heal if it was a wound or whatever, but I've noticed it's actually gotten worse :(
Here are some pictures, the first is a few days after I got it, the second was on taken on last friday.
Now, you can see a little bit of the "bone" that is sticking out a little from where the "soft" part starts

What's wrong with it? :(
Is there anything I can do?

Relatively normal. The very tip of the fin are infact just a soft streamer.
Thanks :) I only became worried because it(the streamer part) was getting a lot bigger (its about double the size of when I first got it)

If I am not mistaken AquaKnight bangai cardinals have the same type of dorsal fin with a soft streamer, as you call it.
