barracudas

anyone ever kept a barracuda and are they hard to take care of because i saw at my lfs and it tore the hell out of a damsel ***) ***) ***)

they are way not suited for the avrage aquarium.... the babies can be kept in a 200gal but when they get big don't think about resising.....think ocean
do not buy one

Probably not a good idea to talk about keeping barracudas on this website. Gets a lot of people upset.

Simply, I have seen barracuda in 40,000g tanks and I would still say the tank is too small. If you actually have seen adults, it is no surprise. Its mouth was still smashed from going into the sides of the tank.
It has nothing to do with people on this site, it is just plain being responsible.
But if ya get your kicks out of keeping fish just to watch them kill other fish....
