FWIW, I wanted to explain why I voted against SWF.com. I like that their pic has the full body of the eel but seeing the jagged edges of where they drilled holes in the plastic makes me not want to buy it because of how its housed. I would expect that animal to arrive to my house looking like it went through a cheese grater. Not to discredit the member's picture which is great and I voted for them, I just like seeing the body of the eel.

I would like to say that I feel the same way about the 'housing' quite often seen in the photos of the swf.com livestock.
they are plastic cups, and drilled cases (like this one).. no matter what the animal is.... it feels wrong and discouraging to see an animal in that kind of atmosphere- 'unnatural'
however let me please note that I still liked the competitors photo better in this instance which is why I voted for him/her.
