when I read that article my first thought was: They have been sucking money out of him and want more. If you don't give us more, we go to the press.

Just a bit of update, Bale was questioned and released without charges. Some additional FWIW, Bale's parents divorced when they were little. He chose to live with his father and his sisters chose their mother. He is so tight-lipped with the media we'll probably never know what happened. (Extortion for money doesn't seem that unreasonable IMO) No one even knows the name of his 3-year-old daughter. How quickly did you hear the names of any of Brangelina's 24 kids? Or how much was Tom/Katie's Suri's name everywhere on TV? I think that's awesome, keep to yourself and just be one of the best actors in Hollywood (watch The Machinist or American Pyscho if you disagree) and make top notch movies. Can't wait for the new Terminator!!

Heh...there is a local mentally disturbed man who did WAY too much acid back in the day who will tell you he's Batman.
But I don't think he beats anyone up.

And yeah, new Terminator's gonna rule. Trailer reminded me of Aliens... but with machine-gun toating robots.
