Just wondering if anyone has ever considered using batting materail for a pre-filter? Like the 1/2" nylon sheet stuff you can find in fabric store. Sure would be a cheap alternative to the blue stuff.
yep it works ok. But an even better idea is to go to home depot or a janitorial store and get the big round nylon pads they make for floor machines. They are very cheap and one will make several filter pads.
