Its amazing the stuff we catch out there, snails, hermits, arrow crabs, starfish, filefish, baby threadfin look downs, bonnet heads, black tips, seahorses and pipe fish, coral, gorganians (sp??). tons of things that you would see at the LFS. and i must say i was tempted to keep the filefish but didnt really kno anything about them.

Deadfish 11, FOr what, the sheepshead?? i used fiddler crabs, and for the rest of the day greenbacks. We didnt catch much as you can see. lol

In the second group of pics.. the second picture.. What is that, a sand dollar?
What kinds of corals do you "catch?" do you scuba or dive for them? Where do you do this fishing.. I was in Miami and there was quite a bit of stuff right off the shore... I caught a baby puffer, filefish, pipefish & a couple other little things w/ just clear ziplock bags..
 
Hey Blizz75 what part of Florida are you cathing that stuff? I will be there in November for vacation for three weeks and looking forward to seeing some of those things. :jumping:

tampa area in the gulf, caladesi island if you know where that is. I get this when wlking on the island swimming fishing or cast netting . These things are every where. as for corals um , i kno nothing about corals but gorganians, polyp lookin things, sponges and a bunch of hard ones i couldnt i.d. for my life

What is that in the third pic?
I caught one of those in Redfish Bay in Texas.
Someone called it an Eagle fish I think.
