I went to the beach this morning and found some plants that were growing off the top of some of the rocks in the water along the shoreline. One looks like grass (white), and the other looks like seaweed (Green). I live in Rhode island Are these safe for my saltwater tank? Fowlr

When in doubt, don't put it in.
My fear would be the "plant" will die and release whatever it has absorbed into your tank.

i don't think i would because of possibly pollutants by the shore line, i know i would'nt want to take that chance.

I would also be concerned with local laws and also water temp. from the ocean to your tank will be off.
