Beautiful....can you let us know -
1) How long it took for the transformation
2) What kind of lights do you have and how much
3) Is it higher up on the rocks now? (Looks like it started at the bottom of the tank)....
Thanks and Congratulations!!

Thanks for the thread Thomas, it was very informative. There was a time when I would have thought the whiter one was the heather or more attractive looking one.
It only took a couple of weeks (and a lot of feeding) for him to start turning more brownish.
When I first got him he was in a little tank without any live rock. He is much happier now.
As for the light it is a coralife 65 watt 50/50 straight pin compact fluorescent lamp. I'm still learning about lighting, I was told this would be sufficient. Though I did put another lamp on the tank along with the coralife. I can post a pick in a little while, as soon as I go take one.
Thanks again!

That's awesome!
I got into the same situation. I have been feeding mine almost daily for 2 weeks. Sometimes he eats, sometimes, he doesn't want it and the peppermint shrimp steal it. He is hiding from the light a little less, but still no color at all. I did get him to eat with the lights on, though.
Hopefully, I will be able to post some before/after pics like yours. Congratulations!
Jim
