Beginner here and completely lost.

I hope I’m posting this in the right place but I really want to start a new hobby and keep salt water fish in my home.

I’m honestly pretty clueless but am willing to learn to keep my fish happy. I wanted information on all the tools necessary to keep a salt water tank, where I can get fish and how to maintain the tank. Right now I have a 55 gallon tank, with a filter and some boxes of salt water. Sorry for the noob questions. Any help will be appreciated!

Welcome to sw. Now run away!!!! Lol jk. Do lots of research. A couple of good books are worth their weight in gold. Sw while more complex then fw is far easier then it use to be. A 55 is fine however its "foot" print is not ideal. A 75 would suit you better. Mixing your own sw will be the best option long term. Also look into an ro di system
