beginner's anemone??

ppl say not to get an anenome until ur tankis at least 6 months old
but on the other hand
i didnt no about this so i went on and got a free bubble tip anenome(it was free but its small) i got it like 4 weeks ago and its still alive!
and last week i got a PTA since the bubble tip was to small for my clowns and its still alive 2
how old is ur tank?
r all ur parameters good?
wat kinda lightin do u have now?
i have t-5 lighting on my 55 gallon

jus measure the top of ur tank and thatll b ur size
mine is 36"
if u have enough for MH then get them but i heard u need to get a chiller
r there corals in the tank, r u planing on gettin corals?
i got t-5's and i love them i never done MH cause u need to buy a chille for them
but first get the new light, wait 2 weeks and then add an anenome

JMO PC's are great, , and the 6 month rule only applies if ur having new tank syndrome, with lots of algal and cyano outbreaks, so far ive gotten over those, and only have a small diatom problem, ny BTA is starting to darken with extra zooxanthealle

askleaskejakauf, bad idea puttin 2 diff secies of anemones together, CHEMICAL WARFARE, it will kill off your bta the purple tentacle, anemones grow fast, so be patient
