Beginner's Mistake two dwarf angels in the same tank. Help!

I made, what I now know to be a beginner's mistake. I put two dwarf angels in my relatively small tank. I have a flame and a rock beauty in the tank now. I know that I will have to take one out. The problem is what angel should I leave in, and which one should I take out? The flame angel seems to be the more aggressive of the two, so I am leaning towards taking it out. I want a peaceful tank any suggestions.

hey welcome to the board. 1st the a Rock Beauty (yellow with black spot on side) is not a dwarf angel. It get to be @ 15in. Now a Coral beauty (purple and orange) is and gets to be @ 5in. Either way I would take 1 out. If it is a Rock Beauty take him out, but if it is a Coral Beauty take the Flame out cause Coral's are very peacful.

If you are a beginner, before too long you won't have to take a fish back because the rock beauty will probably waste away. I wold take it back because it will get too big for a 29 gallon and it will more than likely pass away. If yore flame angel is agressive I would get a maroon clown to keep with him. If it is a coral beauty I would definetly keep him.

Thanks for the information! I am definitely a beginner. It is a rock beauty and I am taking it out of the tank. I did think it was a dwarf angel, oops.

No problem. We have all made mistakes before. It is not totally your fault, your LFS should have warned you about mixing angels, and told you how hard a rock beauty is to keep. Next time you're interested in a fish just ask for information on this board. None of us are trying to sell you anything, so to the best of our knowledge what we are telling you is true.
