Berlin Classic and Kent Marine's venturi

Hi guys,
Has anyone tried to connect the Kent Marine's venturi tube to Berlin Classic Protein skimmer (instead of original venturi cone) ?
I heard it skimms pretty good, much better than original venturi.

I have not, but would be interasted in some results if you do it.

I have got the valve already. Next week i'm gonna accomplish building the new sump and then i will start using this new method.
